If you think ahead about how mobility has changed our world, and mostly for the better, watch this video from Ramesh Raskar about how x can become much more than just a variable. His TedX talk is the best one I have seen on Mobile Marketing. I hope you enjoy watching his theory and application of how your eye exam will be different in the future.

“As the Head of MIT Media Lab’s Camera Culture Research Group, Professor Ramesh Raskar is credited with a long list of innovations, including a smartphone attachment that can diagnose eye problems. But he makes the point that you don’t have to be a PhD to be an inventor. This inspiring talk from TEDx BeaconStreet equips every one of us with an easy-to-use framework.”

Have you ever seen the MIT Media Lab?

Are you getting results from Linkedin for jobs?

Social Network Users Unite

emarketer snip graphWhat if all of the social network users worldwide could unite on one idea and make some really permanent positive change in the world? See the chart here from eMarketer and notice who is using social media networks. It is everywhere, and we are just beginning to use it to accomplish big change. If 2 billion people have a voice that was unlocked until now, what do you think will be the outcome in just a few years from now?

I intend to be around. And the 80% who will be accessing these on mobile devices are not even being addressed with responsive design by most organizations yet. So, we’re on the right track.
